One of the most useful features that you can give your character is the red
lightsaber. With this, you can use Dark Force powers. By bringing such a
character into Free Play, you can access all of the Dark Force-only areas that
you would otherwise not be able to reach until you’ve almost finished Episode
VI and unlocked Darth Vader.

~~~ 8A) Free Play Vehicles ~~~
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

For the most part, the vehicles available in Free Play mode in the game’s four
vehicle-based chapters all play the same way, with a few minor (and one major)
exceptions. The vehicles all fly with the same speed and maneuverability,
except for the Snowspeeder, which is slightly slower and can turn in slightly
tighter circles than the rest. Size can also be an issue, as the Millennium
Falcon and Imperial Shuttle make larger targets than the other vehicles, with
the Snowspeeder being the smallest. Most vehicles are capable of towing only
up to three torpedos at one time, but the Y-wing and the TIE Bomber can carry
up to five. The Millennium Falcon has a 360 degree auto-targeting cannon,
capable of hitting enemies in all directions regardless of the direction of
flight, while all other vehicles fire forward only. The four TIE class
vehicles are the only ones that can open TIE Fighter checkpoints. And finally,
only the Snowspeeder possesses a tow cable, necessary for grabbing onto and
pulling around rolling bombs, and for tripping over AT-AT’s and AT-ST’s.

The four vehicle-based chapters are as follows:

-Episode IV, Chapter Six: Rebel Attack
-Episode V, Chapter One: Hoth Battle
-Episode V, Chapter Three: Falcon Flight
-Episode VI, Chapter Six: Into the Death Star

~~~ 8B) Lego Star Wars II Minikit Vehicles ~~~
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Unlike the Free Play vehicles, which are all largely interchangeable, Minikit
vehicles come in all shapes, sizes, speeds, and degrees of usefulness. Any
completed ones can be selected and switched between in the three Minikit Bonus
stages, unlocked by completing each episode in Story mode (and by having
completed at least one Minikit vehicle). Following are descriptions of all
eighteen Minikit vehicles that can be constructed by collecting all ten Minikit
Canisters from each chapter. See the Free Play mode walkthroughs above for
specific directions on finding all of the canisters.

=========================
Episode IV - A New Hope
=========================

Chapter One: Secret Plans
Minikit vehicle: STAR DESTROYER
Description: A slow, lumbering flying juggernaut. Though not capable of much
speed and unable to roll or loop back over pursuers, the Star
Destroyer is heavily shielded and is immune to enemy blaster
fire. Still, you will need greater speed to collect enough
Studs under the time limit in the Minikit bonus stages. Capable
of carrying up to five torpedos.

Chapter Two: Through the Jundland Wastes
Minikit vehicle: SANDCRAWLER
Description: It is a crawler indeed. Slow, grounded, and possessing no
offensive capabilities, it will get you nowhere fast. It can
not carry torpedos.

Chapter Three: Mos Eisley Spaceport
Minikit vehicle: LAND SPEEDER
Description: Though smaller and more maneuverable than the Sandcrawler, the
Land Speeder is also ground-based and has no offensive power.
Cannot carry torpedos.

Chapter Four: Rescue the Princess
Minikit vehicle: MILLENNIUM FALCON
Description: An adequate space flyer, the Millennium Falcon benefits from its
360 degree auto-targeting cannon, which will aim at enemies and
destructible objects alike. It suffers a little from its large
size, making it an easier target. It can carry up to three
torpedos.

Chapter Five: Death Star Escape
Minikit vehicle: Y-WING
Description: A worthy rebel vehicle. Has standard maneuverable and speed,
with the added bonus of being capable of towing up to five
torpedos at once.

Chapter Six: Rebel Attack
Minikit vehicle: TIE ADVANCED
Description: One of my favorites, for its small size, speed, maneuverability,
and its twin laser cannons. Can carry up to three torpedos.

=====================================
Episode V - The Empire Strikes Back
=====================================

Chapter One: Hoth Battle
Minikit vehicle: AT-AT
Description: Though mighty in Free Play mode, as a Minikit vehicle it is only
an encumbrance. Slow, moving only one leg at a time, it is
virtually a sitting target. Fires alternately from its head’s
front and side-mounted cannons. Cannot carry torpedos.

Chapter Two: Escape from Echo Base
Minikit vehicle: SNOWSPEEDER
Description: Extremely small, making it a more difficult target for enemy
fire. Flies slightly slower than space-based vehicles, but
still adequate. It carries powerful twin blasters for such a
little guy. This is also the only vehicle with a tow cable for
rolling bombs, making it invaluable in Episode V’s Hoth Minikit
Bonus stage. Can carry up to three torpedos.

Chapter Three: Falcon Flight
Minikit vehicle: TIE FIGHTER
Description: Like all TIE class vehicles, the TIE Fighter benefits from its
small size, speed, and full maneuverability. Carries up to
three torpedos.

Chapter Four: Dagobah
Minikit vehicle: X-WING
Description: Perhaps the most classic of all Rebel assault ships, it sports
widely spaced twin blasters. Can carry up to three torpedos.

Chapter Five: Cloud City Trap
Minikit vehicle: CLOUD CAR
Description: It is basically two ships linked together, which makes one
wonder who gets to steer the thing. Fires twin blasters, one
from each car. Carries up the three torpedos. Doesn’t look
impressive, but its an adequate vehicle.

Chapter Six: Betrayal over Bespin
Minikit vehicle: SLAVE 1
Description: Those who dream of being Boba Fett (and what small boy doesn’t?)
will want to use this unique upright vehicle. Fairly small, it
is as effective as any other standard space-based ship. Carries
up to three torpedos.

=================================
Episode VI - Return of the Jedi
=================================

Chapter One: Jabba’s Palace
Minikit vehicle: DESERT SKIFF
Description: Though it is slow, it is still maneuverable enough to avoid a
lot of (but not all) enemy fire. Cannot roll or loop behind
pursuers, though. It can carry up to three torpedos.

Chapter Two: The Great Pit of Carkoon
Minikit vehicle: SAIL BARGE
Description: Large and clunky, it flies as quickly as the Desert Skiff but
turns much more slowly. Its size makes it an easy target. Can
also tow three torpedos.

Chapter Three: Speeder Showdown
Minikit vehicle: TIE BOMBER
Description: The only asymmetrical TIE class vehicle, it is slightly wider
than the others, and it fires only a single needle-like blaster
shot. Functionally, as useful as any TIE Fighter, and as a
bomber it can carry up to five torpedos.

Chapter Four: The Battle of Endor
Minikit vehicle: AT-ST
Description: Though it is slightly faster than the AT-AT, as a walker it is
a sitting duck for enemy fire. Cannot carry torpedos.

Chapter Five: Jedi Destiny
Minikit vehicle: IMPERIAL SHUTTLE
Description: As maneuverable as any space flyer, but its large size makes it
an easier target even than the Millennium Falcon. Capable of
carrying up to three torpedos.

Chapter Six: Into the Death Star
Minikit vehicle: TIE INTERCEPTOR
Description: This is one of my favorite vehicles to use, because of its
dagger-like menacing appearance. Functionally, not better than
any other TIE class ship. Can carry up to three torpedos.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
~~~ 8C) Lego Star Wars I Minikit Vehicles ~~~
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
If the memory card that you are using for this game also has a save file from
the first Lego Star Wars game, then any completed Minikit vehicles from that
game will be playable in the Minikit Bonus stages as well. This makes up for
the fact that were not playable at all in the first game. You cannot select
any of these vehicles from the initial screen, but you can scroll to all of
them with the [L1] and [R1] buttons during play. You’ll have to check my guide
to the first Lego Star Wars game to see how to complete these 17 Minikit
vehicles (http://www.gamefaqs.com/console/ps2/file/924063/47077).
REPUBLIC CRUISER
Description: Though slightly larger than most one-man fighters, this ship is
still highly maneuverable and makes an acceptable choice of
vehicle. Fires only a single cannon. Can carry three torpedos.
GUNGAN BONGO
Description: Meant as an underwater vehicle, here on land it hovers somewhat
slowly, and has no offensive ability. It can tow up to three
torpedos.
ROYAL STARSHIP
Description: Sleek, shiny and largely flat, this Naboo vehicle is still too
large to rank it with the better ships to play with. It can
also carry up the three torpedos.
SEBULBA’S POD
Description: This is the fastest vehicle around, and it can roll and loop
behind pursuers as well. Too bad that it has no offensive
abilities, nor can it carry any torpedos.
NABOO STARFIGHTER
Description: The direction that this vehicle flies in is the opposite of what
feels intuitive, due to the location of its nacelles. A merely
average space flyer. Can tow up to three torpedos.
SITH INFILTRATOR
Description: You’d think that the Sith would have a cooler ship to fly
around in. This one’s too big to be on the A-list. Can carry
up to three torpedos.
JEDI STARFIGHTER
Description: Tiny like the Snowspeeder, and just as fast as any other space
vehicle. A fine choice for play. Can carry three torpedos.
DROIDEKA
Description: An interesting addition to the lineup. While stopped, it will
raise its bubble shield and become immune to all enemy blaster
fire. To move, however, it must drop its shield. It moves
quite slowly, and also takes a good moment for its shield to
reform, so unless you’re content to just sit in one place, it’ll
be an easy target despite its defensive power. Its blaster
shots move so slowly and close to the ground that I’ll be amazed
if you hit anything with them. It cannot carry torpedos.
REPUBLIC GUNSHIP
Description: Though not meant as a space flyer, here it has the same speed
and maneuverability as one. Again, though, its large size
prevents it from being among the most useful ships. It can
carry up to three torpedos.
AT-TE
Description: As frustratingly slow as the AT-AT, and much less cool looking,
having a beetle-like design with six little stick legs. It
goes nowhere fast and fires its single cannon with slow
frequency. Even if you hit something, you’ll never reach the
Studs in time to collect them. Cannot carry torpedos. Avoid
using at all costs.
SOLAR SAILOR
Description: Though it flies slightly more quickly than most vehicles, it
cannot roll or loop behind pursuers to avoid enemy fire, nor can
it fire back. It can carry up to three torpedos, but that’s as
good as it gets.
DROP SHIP
Description: Looking like nothing more than a flying satellite dish, it is
actually a fairly effective vehicle. With good speed, full
maneuverability, decently small size and twin cannons, it is a
a decent choice for play. Can carry up to three torpedos.
EMERGENCY SHIP
Description: Made as a rescue vehicle, it is maneuverable enough to fly into
a battle zone, but it cannot participate in battle without any
cannons. Capable of carrying up the three torpedos.
JEDI STARFIGHTER (EPISODE III)
Description: This ship is merely average. Its speed is nothing to write home
about, and overall it has just standard offensive and evasive
capabilities. Carries the standard three torpedos.
WOOKIEE CAT
Description: Meant for the swamps of Kashyyk, this is perhaps the best
ground-based vehicle, with excellent speed, good maneuverability
despite the lack of ability to roll or loop behind pursuers, and
effective blaster cannons. It cannot carry any torpedos,
however.
ARC FIGHTER
Description: Obviously a predecessor to the more well-known X-wing fighter,
it handles the same as that vehicle does. Carries up the three
torpedos, and a fairly good space flyer, though not the smallest
ship around.
V WING
Description: With a compact design, this ship is slightly above average for a
space flyer. It can carry the usual three torpedos.
These bonuses need to be purchased at the bar in Mos Eisley Cantina before they
can be activated. Upon approaching the counter, highlight the box of junk and
press [X] to enter the sale menu, then scroll left and right Once acquired,
press Start at any time during gameplay and select ’Extras’ from the menu.
Then, scroll up and down and press [X] when the desired item is highlighted to
turn it on or off. While some of these are purely for fun or fan service, many
are quite useful during gameplay, unlike the selection of Extras available in
the first Lego Star Wars game.
Most Extras (all of the useful ones, that is) require that you first locate a
certain Power Brick before they are available for purchase. The Power Brick
number corresponds to the order of chapters as the story unfolds; Power Bricks
1 to 6 are found in Chapters 1 to 6 of Episode IV, while Power Bricks 7 to 12
are from Episode V, and Bricks 13 to 18 are from Episode VI.
ADAPTIVE DIFFICULTY
Price to unlock: Free
Effect: While on, this option will reduce the amount of Studs that you lose
upon dying by half after the first few deaths within a given
chapter. This can help more careless or less skilled players to
achieve True Jedi status more easily. Has no effect in vehicle-
based chapters.
- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
USE OLD SAVE
Price to unlock: 250,000 Studs
Effect: When turned on, if you are using a memory card containing a save
file from the first Lego Star Wars game, any characters that you
have unlocked in that game will be available to choose from in
Free Play mode. Some minor changes in their abilities will be
present to suit the current game environment. For example,
Lego Star Wars I characters who could do a Super Jump, can now only
do a regular double-jump. See the character section above for full
details on all imported characters’ abilities.
- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
EXTRA TOGGLE
Price to unlock: 30,000 Studs
Effect: This adds extra characters to Free Play mode who would not
otherwise be playable. These characters will not appear in the
list of icons visible after character selection at the start of the
chapter, but you can switch to them by pressing [L1] and [R1]
during gameplay. The complete list of characters and their
abilities is as follows:
SKELETON - Several of these are found here and there in the game, for
example frozen in the ice inside Echo Base. They can use
a three-hit combo melee attack, removing and striking with
their own arms and legs. Cannot build Lego or do most
other tasks that organic characters can. He can ride
animals and vehicles, but doing so freezes him stiff so
that he can’t do anything afterwards (until you switch
characters again, at least).
REBEL ENGINEER - Dressed in khakis, these fellows can do whatever a
Rebel Trooper can do. Great to have around when your
X-wing needs repairs.
IMPERIAL ENGINEER - The work force on the in-progess Death Star seen
in Episode VI. They play similarly to
Stormtroopers, complete with belly flop and all.
They can even open Stormtrooper checkpoints.
AT-AT DRIVER - The operators of the dreaded AT-AT’s. Their armor is
in the Stormtrooper style, with grey arms and legs and
more detail on the helmet and chestplate. Does
whatever a Stormtrooper can, including the belly flop.
SCOUT TROOPER - I was hoping that this guy would show up. These are
the Imperials who ride the Speeder Bikes on the moon
of Endor. Their helmets are much less domed than the
regular Stormtrooper gear. Functionally, they play
the same as all Stormtrooper-type characters.
MOUSE DROID - The little black rectangular box on wheels that appears
in the Death Star. His only ability is to roll around
very, very quickly. He can pick up Studs as he goes by,
and with the Self Destruct extra turned on, he has one
offensive move at least. He also possesses the Threat
Evasion ability.
DROID 1 - Looks like a miniature piece of construction equipment with
arms in front and in back, with a tall straight antenna.
Possesses the usual Droid uselessness, but at least they
have the Threat Evasion skill, so enemies will leave them
alone.
DROID 2 - A white and tan dome-shaped Droid with arms all around, so
that you can’t tell whether its coming or going.
DROID 3 - A walking stick figure with a round sensor for a face.
DROID 4 - A rolling green upright cylinder.
WOMP RAT - A little orange aardvark-looking creature, good only for
running around quickly, and for ducking through crawl
vents like they weren’t even there (thanks to Soul Sever
for pointing that bit out). He also has the Threat Evasion
ability, which is fair since he presents no threat at all.
HAN SOLO (FROZEN IN CARBONITE) - The image of a pained Han Solo
imprinted onto a flat black block.
Only capable of hopping around
clumsily.
And since I’ve received some requests to list which extra characters appear
in which chapters, here you go:
Ep. IV, Ch. 1: Rebel Engineer.
Ep. IV, Ch. 2: Droid 1, Droid 2, Droid 3, Droid 4,
Skeleton, Womp Rat.
Ep. IV, Ch. 3: Womp Rat, Droid 1, Droid 2, Droid 3,
Droid 4.
Ep. IV, Ch. 4: Mouse Droid, Imperial Engineer, Skeleton.
Ep. IV, Ch. 5: Mouse Droid, Imperial Engineer.
Ep. IV, Ch. 6: None (vehicle stage).
Ep. V, Ch. 1: None (vehicle stage).
Ep. V, Ch. 2: Rebel Engineer, AT-AT Driver, Skeleton.
Ep. V, Ch. 3: None (vehicle stage).
Ep. V, Ch. 4: Skeleton.
Ep. V, Ch. 5: Han Solo (frozen in carbonite).
Ep. V, Ch. 6: Han Solo (frozen in carbonite).
Ep. VI, Ch. 1: Han Solo (frozen in carbonite), Womp Rat.
Ep. VI, Ch. 2: Skeleton.
Ep. VI, Ch. 3: AT-AT Driver, Scout Trooper.
Ep. VI, Ch. 4: Scout Trooper, Imperial Engineer, Womp Rat,
Skeleton.
Ep. VI, Ch. 5: Mouse Droid, Imperial Engineer, Skeleton.
Ep. VI, Ch. 6: None (vehicle stage).
FERTILIZER
Price to unlock: 10,000 Studs
Effect: While riding an animal, press [O] to make it poop out a small brown
pellet, which will vanish after a moment. Great fun if you’re six
years old (either in fact or merely in spirit).
- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
DISGUISE
Price to unlock: 10,000 Studs
Effect: Adds a funny disguise to almost all characters, including the
non-player characters that inhabit the Mos Eisley Cantina and
environs. There are three disguises listed here; only the first
one is initially available. To unlock Disguises 2 and 3, you must
enter secret codes at the bar. See the very end of this guide for
those codes. Once you have more than one disguise unlocked, you
can scroll through them by pressing [X] while ’Disguise’ is
highlighted in the Extras menu. A couple or characters are exempt
from the use of disguises, possibly based on head and hat shape.
For example, Ewoks still appear as normal.
Disguise 1: Most characters will appear wearing a comical fake
mustache, nose, glasses and eyebrows in the style of
Groucho Marx.
Disguise 2: Adds a round red clown nose to virtually all characters.
Disguise 3: Adds a mask consisting of bushy white bears and eyebrows,
glasses, and a round nose.
- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
DAISY CHAINS
Price to unlock: 5,000 Studs
Effect: Grapple lines are replaced by flowery vines, thereby prettying up
any blaster user.
- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
CHEWBACCA CARRYING C-3PO
Price to unlock: 10,000 Studs
Effect: Chewbacca will always appear wearing C-3PO as a backpack, as an
homage to the time during The Empire Strikes Back when the latter
was in pieces and being hauled around in just such a manner by the
Wookiee.
- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
TOW DEATH STAR
Price to unlock: 5,000 Studs
Effect: Rolling bombs, those that you hook onto with the Snowspeeder’s tow
cable in vehicle stages, will now appear as little Death Stars.
This does not affect their functionality.
- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
POWER BRICK 1 - SUPER BLASTERS
Price to unlock: 30,000 Studs
Effect: All blasters do double damage. Great for taking out those pesky
Imperial Officers, Gamorrean Guards and the like in one shot.
- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
POWER BRICK 2 - FAST FORCE
Price to unlock: 25,000 Studs
Effect: When active, this Extra greatly increases the speed with which
using the Force moves objects, so that you can perform the most
complex Force manipulations almost instantly.
- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
POWER BRICK 3 - SUPER LIGHTSABERS
Price to unlock: 26,000 Studs
Effect: All lightsabers will do double damage, and all will be a lovely
shade of purple. Despite the color change, Sith can still use
Dark Force, while Jedi can still only use regular Force.
- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
POWER BRICK 4 - TRACTOR BEAM
Price to unlock: 40,000 Studs
Effect: While turned on, in a vehicle-based chapter, your ship will emit a
360 degree beam that will suck in any nearby enemy ships and drag
them along helplessly with you. Face them while they’re trapped in
your beam to destroy them.
- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
POWER BRICK 5 - INVINCIBILITY
Price to unlock: 900,000 Studs
Effect: Your active character will be immune to all damage, from enemy fire
or explosions, and you will also not lose any Studs if you fall
into a pit.
- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
POWER BRICK 6 - SCORE X2
Price to unlock: 2,000,000 Studs
Effect: While this Extra is turned on, the value of any Studs collected
will be doubled. Cannot be used in bonus stages.
- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
POWER BRICK 7 - SELF DESTRUCT
Price to unlock: 20,000 Studs
Effect: With this turned on, any Droid will be able to blow itself apart by
pressing [O], destroying any nearby characters and objects in the
process. The explosion is powerful enough to destroy the shiny
silver objects that normally require Thermal Detonators to break
open. You will not lose any Studs for killing yourself in this
way, and you will regenerate in a moment. Exempted from this skill
are the Droid Bounty Hunters, 4-LOM and IG-88. When this extra
is active, you will need to use [Square] to operate Droid Locks.
- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
POWER BRICK 8 - FAST BUILD
Price to unlock: 40,000 Studs
Effect: Any assembly of Lego pieces will occur at lightning speed. This
can be quite useful when you’re trying to build something while
coming under heavy enemy fire.
- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
POWER BRICK 9 - SCORE X4
Price to unlock: 6,000,000 Studs
Effect: While this Extra is turned on, the value of any Studs collected
will be multiplied by four. When multiple Stud multiplier Extras
are active, the total effect is the product of all multipliers.
For example, with ’Score x2’ and ’Score x4’ both turned on, all
Studs will be multiplied by eight. Cannot be used in bonus stages.
- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
POWER BRICK 10 - REGENERATE HEARTS
Price to unlock: 290,000 Studs
Effect: Any lost hearts will be replaced one at a time every few seconds,
making survival in combat significantly easier.
- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
POWER BRICK 11 - MINIKIT DETECTOR
Price to unlock: 500,000 Studs
Effect: While playing any chapter, arrows will indicate the locations of
any currently uncollected Minikit Canisters.
- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
POWER BRICK 12 - SCORE X6
Price to unlock: 12,000,000 Studs
Effect: Multiplies the value of any Studs collected by six. When multiple
Stud multiplier Extras are active, the total effect is the product
of all multipliers. For example, with ’Score x2’, ’Score x4’ and
’Score x6’ all turned on, all Studs collected will be multiplied by
forty-eight (2 x 4 x 6). Cannot be used in bonus stages.
- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
POWER BRICK 13 - SUPER ZAPPER
Price to unlock: 15,000 Studs
Effect: The Droid Zapper guns that are carried by Jawas and Ugnaughts, and
the built-in zappers wielded by Astromech Droids, will all now
fully destroy Droids rather than merely incapactitating them
momentarily, and they can now stun almost all organic characters
as well. Jedi and Sith are immune, I suppose due to their mental
discipline.
- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
POWER BRICK 14 - BOUNTY HUNTER ROCKETS
Price to unlock: 75,000 Studs
Effect: Boba Fett gains the ability to fire powerful rockets from his
backpack, by pressing [Triangle]. These rockets have slight homing
ability, and explode upon contact with an area effect, similar to
Thermal Detonators. These rockets can also destroy shiny metallic
objects. Without a target, they’ll fly at an upward angle until
they hit a solid surface. If you are playing with ’Use Old Save’
active, Jango Fett also has access to this ability.
- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
POWER BRICK 15 - SCORE X8
Price to unlock: 20,000,000 Studs
Effect: Multiplies the value of any Studs collected by eight. When more
than one Stud multiplier Extra is active, the total effect is the
product of all multipliers. For example, with ’Score x2’,
’Score x4’, ’Score x6’ and ’Score x8’ all turned on, all Studs
POWER BRICK 16 - SUPER EWOK CATAPULT
Price to unlock: 50,000 Studs
Effect: This changes the regular slingshot ammo into purple balls of energy
that look like the torpedos from vehicle stages, which will explode
on contact like Thermal Detonators, creating a destructive blast
with a limited area effect (which can kill your own characters if
they’re standing too close), also capable of destroying shiny
metallic objects. You can even break out of the Emperor’s Force
Lightning hold with this attack. In terms of range, firing speed,
and aiming limitations, the Ewok’s slingshots don’t change.
POWER BRICK 17 - INFINITE TORPEDOS
Price to unlock: 90,000 Studs
POWER BRICK 18 - SCORE X10
one Stud multiplier Extra is active, the total effect is the
product of all multipliers. For example, with all five multipliers
are turned on, all Studs collected will be multiplied by a whopping
3,840 (2 x 4 x 6 x 8 x 10). Cannot be used in bonus stages.
These are purchased at the bar in Mos Eisley Cantina. The first few are given
to you, but the rest will cost you to see them. But as cheap as they are, they
really aren’t worth spending any money on, since most can be found in the game
manual, and all are given to you in-game when the appropriate situation arises.
Of course, you can also just read them all right here, since I have been
generous enough to include them all for free.
HINT 1: Free
"Double-jump and press [Square] when in the air to do a special Jedi attack."
HINT 2: Free
"Press [Square] to attack."
And there you have it.
!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
!! FINAL SECRET !!
!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Are you ready for it? After collecting all 99 Gold Bricks, go outside the
cantina through the door to the left of the bar. There, you’ll find a stack of
shiny Lego pieces with which you can build a tall Stud fountain, which will
spray out a neverending supply of Studs. Run around it and watch your Stud
total soar, especially with the Stud multiplier Extras turned on. In fact, one
way to build up your Stud total without any effort is to stand in one spot near
the fountain where Blue Studs periodically fall, then let the game run on its
own while you do something more productive. Come back in a while and see how
much your Stud total has grown! You may want to turn off the vibration
function before you do this, however, lest your controller shimmy across
whatever surface you left it lying on. Turn on any Stud multiplier Extras that
you may have purchased first, and purchase the next one as soon as you can
afford it. Once you can afford the Score X6 bonus, you will rapidly earn
enough for the final two Stud multipliers (not to mention any remaining
playable characters or other Extras). And with all five Stud multipliers
active, you will very quickly reach the game maximum of four billion Studs! Of
course, at that point you won’t really have anything left to spend it on.
!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
!! EXTRA SECRET CODES !!
!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I have not provided the codes to unlocking characters and extras, since those
can be achieved through more satisfying, legitimate means. But there are a
couple of very special codes released by LucasArts around Christmas after the
game was released. Enter the following at the Mos Eisley Cantina bar:
CL4U5H: Adds red arms and a red toque to the Customizable Character bacta tank
options.
TYH319: Adds ’Disguise 3’ to the Extras menu. This disguise is a
mask consisting of a bushy white beard and eyebrows, glasses, and a
round nose.
Once you’ve input both of these, Go to ’Disguise’ and press [X] repeatedly to
scroll through the different available disguises, then exit the menu when the
one you want is active. Next, go to the Bacta tanks and make a character with
the red toque, whatever face you prefer (though a human one will give the best
results), a red torso, red arms, black hands, red waist, red legs, and whatever
weapon you prefer. Next, enter any Free Play chapter and bring in your
customized character, who will now look (kind of) like Santa Claus!
And one more extra code:
NBP398: Adds ’Disguise 2’ to the Extras menu. This disguise is a round red
clown nose. Scroll through the different options by pressing [X]
repeatedly under ’Disguise’ in the Extras menu, then exit when the
one you want is active.
Well, I guess that’s about it for now. Not that it wasn’t a lot, mind you.
three episodes of the saga. The complete collection can be seen at:
