A wireless solution for chat would have been ideal, but we’d imagine this would severely compromise battery life on the headphones.

The cost for the average gamer may seem a bit steep, but figure that you could skimp on a few average games or get family members to possibly pitch in on the cost since they will be gaining some peace and quiet.
