New Console Buyer’s Guide: Wii
Posted by Joseph DeLia, 349 days ago

Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess
(Nintendo, 2006, Metacritic Score: 95)

Twilight Princess

For years, fans have wanted a more mature, more realistic-looking Zelda, and Nintendo delivered just that with Twilight Princess. The Wii controls add a whole new dimension to the traditional weaponry, such as the bow and arrow, which makes them a blast to use. The game also allows you to transform into a wolf for all new gameplay possibilities and offers several puzzle-filled dungeons to explore. This is still Zelda, so if you were a fan of older titles, you will love what is offered here.

No More Heroes
(Ubisoft, 2008, Metacritic Score: 83)

No More Heroes

Jump into the shoes of Travis Touchdown, a badass, lightsword-wielding hitman who has to take down 10 assassins to claim the top spot in a league of killers. Featuring some of the best combat on the Wii, some great humor, a ton of nods to retro gaming, and a few of the most original levels in any game of 2008, No More Heroes is a fantastic, mature experience that every Wii owner should try.
