Capcom has finally confirmed what everyone already knew. Street Fighter IV is heading for the Xbox 360, Playstation 3 and PC. Although Xbox 360 and PS3 confirmation was expected, the real surprise is that there will be a PC version as well. Sadly Nintendo fans will be sitting this one out as it will not be coming to Nintendo Wii.

Capcom has stuck with the 2D fighting mechanics and inserted that into a 3D world with character models and scenery all in beautiful 3D. Fighting stars, such as Ryu and Ken, return with the likes of Chun Li, Guile and Bison along with new characters that include Crimson Viper, Abel and many more.

Although Capcom has announced which platforms the game will be coming to, they still haven’t announced a date that we can expect to be playing the King of fighters. With next year being touted as a release date, there have been rumors we may in fact see the game as early as this winter, ready for the holiday season.
