So you’ve always wanted to cosplay but refuse to dress up like Mario or a Final Fantasy protagonist eh? Well TriForce Sales may just have a solution, as they are planning on releasing a full line of Gears of War inspired armor and weapons very soon. The team is planning on releasing 1:1 scale replicas of the COG armor, COG helmet and Lancer Assault Rifle. Furthermore, they’ve gotten licensing rights from Epic, so what you’ll be getting is a full-fledged, true to life set of gear, not some crappy cardboard and tinfoil job your mom sewed together.

The story of how the pieces came to be is kind of a funny one, as it all sprang from Sid Garrand of Nightmare Games love of the game.

"In my spare time I sculpted a full set of armor for myself, which I enjoyed showing off at conventions. When the fans saw it they all asked me how they could get it. I was thrilled when the team from Epic saw it, and liked it, and allowed us to move to the point to where we are today. It all truly began as a labor of love."

While prices and timetables have not been made public yet, TriForce has set up a website to begin taking orders on July 8. Enjoy walking onstage with your fancy chainsaw one last time at E3 Cliffy, soon you won’t be the only one who’s locked, loaded, and ready to roll.
