We all know that converting BioShock over to the PS3 is a hefty ordeal, one which must be done with utmost care. If 2K Games delivers anything less than the work of art they created for the Xbox 360, then Sony fans will cry foul and demand EA promptly acquire the company as punishment. In fact, most gamers are expecting an even better experience on the PS3, so any little slip is going to be scrutinized and picked apart to no end.

With that in mind, 2K has announced that they are bringing in an unnamed studio to help with development. Alyssa Marin of 2K Marin, the lead studio involved in the game has said that "because this is the first PS3 title from 2K Marin, 2K Australia and 2K Boston, we’ve also got another development partner with some outstanding PS3-specific coding chops helping out with the project."

Who could this mystery studio be? Insomniac? Naughty Dog? The plot to bring BioShock to the PS3 continues to thicken, now the guessing games can begin!
