So you’ve long since banished the Covenant and Flood and saved the universe and you’ve Gravity Hammered and Energy Sworded your friends into oblivion more times than you can count, and now you want more. Well, if you happen to be a GamePro reader, you can get the full scoop on Halo Wars this month. But in the meantime, here are the details we know that have been leaked from the latest issue.

First off, realize that this isn’t going to be your typical RTS with long bouts of resource gathering and many turns devoted to unit construction. Rather, the team is going for a more action-heavy feel by cutting economic resources down to simply "supplies," and promising battles that can begin "within ten seconds" of getting to the warzone. Also, a partial list of available forces has been revealed. Units you’ll be taking into battle include:

USNC
• Marines
• Flamethrower Marines
• Spartans
• Warthogs
• Scorpions
• Cobras (anti-vehicle artillery)
• Hornets
• Wolverines (anti-aircraft vehicle)
• Elephants (no word if they are the African or Asian variety)
• Cyclops (mech)
• Vultures

Covenant
• Grunts
• Jackals
• Hunters
• Ghosts
• Banshees
• Scarabs
• Elites

More units are expected to be revealed as launch comes closer, but even with this partial list, it seems like this is going to be one epic war indeed. Keep it right here for more info on Halo Wars as it becomes available.
