Is Microsoft in Denial Over GTA DLC Delay? Not Completely

An article up on Destructoid earlier made a rather large splash, and seems to be spurring up all sorts of fanboyish arguments in its wake. The author claims that Microsoft is seemingly in denial over the DLC being pushed back to Fiscal ’09, which begins on November 1st. Now, while you can make a case for denial, seeing as the delay pushes it beyond the beginning of fall, which seems to still be the official position for MS, it also is readily apparent that title could still make it in before the end of fall (December 20th). While November 1st isn’t the beginning of fall, it is near the start of the holiday season.

In the end, Microsoft’s goal is probably to make sure it does launch before this holiday season (after all, they did spend a lot to get it). If Microsoft can keep the DLC in the spotlight, it may have an effect on purchasing decisions. Personally, I can’t see this DLC playing too large a role on which console you chose, as there are many other aspects that will affect ones decision.
