TheGameReviews.com was lucky enough to be able to speak to Jon Jones, art production manager at NCsoft Austin. During this interview, Jon spoke about upcoming updates for the free MMO Dungeon Runners. The game is to get two new armor sets for players to collect, pirate and ninja. Wearing the full pirate set will give you a hook hand, two peg legs, and a skeletal parrot to hang from your shoulder; no details were given on the ninja set.

Along with this new information, Jon also told us what to expect in the retail version of Dungeon Runners later this month. The boxed version unlocks the ’bling gnome,’ complete with blinged out wheelbarrows (spinners and hydraulics), that grabs gold and items for you and will occasionally poop out magic items (pooping animations, sounds, particle effects included). This is all exclusive to the boxed version of the game.
