Capcom Responds to SSF II Turbo HD Remix Beta Problems
Posted by James Barr, Jun 25, 2008 12:56

Earlier today we broke the news that the recently released Super Street Fighter II Turbo HD Remix beta was experiencing some major freezing problems when players try to connect to matches online, resulting in a full system crash. Well Capcom has come out and responded to the problems in blog form. This is what they had to say:

“So, I load up the beta to play today and it’s crashing for me whenever I try to create or join and online match. Well, I was able to join one tournament, but that’s about it. I’ve been looking around and this doesn’t seem to happen all the time or for everyone, but it’s definitely happening wayyyy too much, even if it is a beta.

I can assure you that during our testing of the title, this never occurred. It would never have been released by Capcom nor any other parties involved if we saw it. I want to let you guys know that we are definitely looking into the issue and evaluating options for addressing it.”

Its good to know that Capcom is responding to the fans and looking into fixing the issue so players can actually enjoy participating in this beta. Be sure to check back to TheGameReviews.com for our beta impressions later today.
