Ozzy and Sting to Appear in Guitar Hero: World Tour?
Posted by Brad Hilderbrand, Jun 28, 2008 20:46

Considering the success Activision had in getting Tom Morello and Slash to appear in Guitar Hero 3, it was nearly a given that they would attempt to capture magic in a bottle again with more rockers in the upcoming Guitar Hero: World Tour. That is, in fact proving to be the case, as an online marketing survey has revealed a whole slew of rockers expected to appear in the title.

Thus far, the legend list includes Sting, Ozzy Osbourne, Ted (The Nuge) Nugent, Billy Corgan, Jimi Hendrix, Travis Barker, Hayley Williams, and Zak Wylde. No doubt someone out there will complain about the omission of some random guitar player only the "hip kids" know about, but for those firmly rooted in mainstream music, it’s a pretty good list.

We’ll keep you up to date on any new bands, songs, or digital likenesses expected to appear in the game, but in the meantime you can get a taste of things to come with Guitar Hero: Aerosmith; that is, assuming that Steven Tyler’s gigantic lips and colorful mic stand don’t confuse and terrify you.
