Uncharted: Drake’s Fortune is truly one of the PS3’s best titles. It’s a fun, gorgeous, entertaining game, one that every PS3 owner should experience. Now, it looks like you’ll have reason to track down the legend of Sir Francis Drake at least one more time, as Sony has announced that the game will be receiving an upgrade to allow Trophy support.

In an interview with GameSpy, Sony’s Eric Lempel, PSN Director of Operations, announced that Uncharted "will also receive a patch at some point in the foreseeable future," which will allow Trophies to be awarded for accomplishments in the game. He added that more games will be announced soon, but for now gamers should check out the list of the official Playstation blog and keep their eyes and ears open for new announcements (like this one!)

Is it sad that I’m thinking about downloading Super Stardust HD just because it’s the first game to feature Trophies and I feel like I need a fix? It probably is, maybe I should go get some counseling.
