There’s been quite a dustup lately when it comes to Too Human. First Denis Dyck jumps onto NeoGAF and starts a bit of a tiff, then game journalism outlets come out with some fairly strong rebukes of Silicon Knights’ saga a decade in the making. Now you can cut through the clutter and jump right in for yourself, as IGN is reporting that a demo for the highly-anticipated title will be released next week.
Dyack and company have been promising a demo for quite some time, and this now-fulfilled promise will feature part of the game’s first level, likely a similar bit to what was shown at GDC a few months ago. The Norse RPG-flavored demo goodness is scheduled to arrive on Monday, July 14th, the same day Microsoft kicks off E3 with their press conference.
In fact, the Too Human demo is just a small part of Microsoft’s larger "Bringing It Home" E3 campaign, which is set to feature new trailers, themes, and gamerpics from the show. So if you find the Too Human demo wanting, maybe you can get a nice Viva Pinata or Banjo Kazooie theme.
After you’ve played the demo, make sure to check back here at TGR for our exclusive E3 interview with Denis Dyack himself. We’re going to be talking Too Human expectations, his plans for where the series is headed and much, much more, so make sure you don’t miss it.
