During the EA Sports press conference, EA Sims studio confirmed that Sims 3 will be released for PC early next year 2009. EA also previewed the trailer and it sure looks like sims fans will not be disappointed.  Details were scant, but considering the past success of the franchise, the game will pry many more hours from housewives and schoolchildren.
