New PSN and PSP Titles Unveiled
Posted by James Barr, Jul 15, 2008 17:58

During the Sony E3 press conference, Sony announced a slew of new games for the Playstation Network and Playstation Portable. The rumored Ratchet & Clank: Quest for Booty was officially announced, as was Fat Princess and Ragdoll Kung Fu: Fists of Plastic. Sony also showed some more footage of flOwer.

Although most of the attention was on the Playstation 3, that doesn’t mean Sony forgot about the PSP. During the conference, Sony announced a fair packet of new games that include the very first Resistance game for the PSP called Resistance: Retribution, developed by Bend Studios, presented as a third-person shooter for release in 2009. Other shown PSP titles included LEGO Batman, Loco Roco 2 and Super Stardust Portable.

It’s good to know Sony is not just focused on the PS3 and is considering all its gaming platforms, especially considering the PSP’s healthy-ish success against the DS. Be sure to check back to TGR for more E3 news.
