Metal Gear Online Championship Confirmed by Konami
Posted by Nick McCavitt, Jul 18, 2008 19:44

In addition to the release of the Metal Gear Online content packs, which is no doubt making players of the game very happy, Konami has more exciting news for fans of the series. A tournament will take place this October at the Tokyo Game Show and Metal Gear Solid fans from all over the world can attend to try their hand at winning the title of "Best MGO Team in the World." Teams who manage to work their way up to the highest scoring levels in North America, Europe, Japan, and Greater Asia will be accorded an all expenses paid trip to the MGO World Championships ’08 finals situated in Tokyo, Japan.

As a preliminary to this very exciting competition, there will be an exhibition match for Metal Gear Online features at this year’s Comic Con in San Diego, CA. Potential players who wish to include themselves in the contest are invited to join in for the chance to win prizes.
