It seems there’s going to be another reason to fork out for the next episode of the Playstation Network online magazine Qore. According to the recent Playstation Underground e-mail, the next issue will feature beta invites for the multiplayer of the upcoming Playstation 3 exclusive Resistance 2. One of the most talked-about features of Resistance 2 is the 60-player online multiplayer and this is where the beta comes in handy.

Resistance 2 is arguably one of, if not the, most anticipated Playstation 3 exclusive release this holiday season. Launching in November, Resistance 2 promises to be bigger, longer, and more action-packed than the original. We have every confidence in the team over at Insomniac that they can pull of this highly-anticipated first-person shooter. To get your hands on the beta, you must purchase episode 3 of Qore, which will be available August 7th. No word yet on how players from Europe can enter the beta, but we’ve contacted Sony for an answer.
