Lumines on its Way to PSN
Posted by Brad Hilderbrand, Sep 3, 2008 11:20

Many puzzle game fans have absolutely adored Lumines ever since it debuted for the PSP a few years back, and now the audience is expanding even further. According to the Japanese mag Famitsu, Lumines will appear on PSN later this year as the newly-titled Lumines Super Nova. Specific release dates and prices are not yet available, but the magazine expects the game to make it onto Japanese PS3s by the end of the year.

Really, this is just about the last place for the game to appear besides the Wii, as there are already versions of Lumines on Xbox Live Arcade, PS2, PC, and even cell phones. However, Q Entertainment is hoping the PS3 version is better received than it’s 360 counterpart, which was lambasted for requiring users to buy a lot of extra-price DLC in order to access the full game.

We’ll keep an eye out for info on a US release date or pricing, in the meantime go grab a copy of the original for PSP, you’ll be glad you did.

Prev: LEGO Batman titles to be available for McDonald’s.
Next: Pre-Order Prince of Persia and Get Special Edition for Free
