Age of Conan has become a successful hit for Funcom. The MMO was released earlier in the year for PC, breaking pre-order records while launching, but what some people tend to forget is the fact that Age of Conan is also scheduled for release on the Xbox 360 next year. Eurogamer didn’t forget this, as they have been on contact with Funcom to see if they can get any information out of them on the Xbox 360 version of the game.
Said Erling Ellingsen:
"The Xbox 360 version is still very much set to happen and we are working on it. However, there are no dates set, even though we aim for a 2009 release. Our big priority now is, of course, the PC version and fixing the issues with it and improving it for our current players."
Apparently, work has already been started on the console version, but was put aside to finish of the PC version when closing in on the launch date. Expect more information on the console version in the upcoming months.
