Video game developer Kuju announced today the formation of a new company that will be developing games which will be designed for children and which will be released in a variety of formats. The company, titled Nik-Nak Games, is located outside the Surrey University Research Park outside of Guildford, England. The age range of the target audience for Kuju’s Nik-Nak games company ranges from 6-12 years of age and bear an ESRB rating level no higher then 10+. Kevin Holloway, the new Studio Head of Nik Nak Games, stated that he was “"very excited to be heading up NiK NaK” and that the company has “big ambitions for the studio to become a world leader in the huge kids’ games genre” that is backed up by Nik Nak’s commitment to creative passion and excellence." The company is already currently developing several games that will be released in 2008 and the Studio Head, Kevin Holloway, will be appearing at the Game Connection in Lyon to showcase the new company between December 4th and December 6th.
