Preview the Xbox 360 New Xbox Experience Early
Posted by Alexander Galerakis, Oct 25, 2008 11:21

Larry "Major Nelson" Hryb has updated his personal blog with some great news for Xbox 360 gamers around the world. A few lucky thousands will apparently get to participate in an early preview of Microsoft’s hotly anticipated New Xbox Experience.

“How do you get chosen? The first step is to head on over to Microsoft Connect, sign in with your Windows LIVE ID and join the "Xbox 360 Fall 2008 Preview Program" by clicking on this link.

Once you do that, you need to fill out the "Xbox 360 Fall Flash Preview Sign Up" survey in order to be considered for receiving the Preview System Update.”

The New Xbox Experience will include hyped features such as the brand new Miis. I’m sorry, I mean the Avatars, as well as the ability to install and stream full retail games off the console’s hard drive. So make sure that you sign up, unless of course you aren’t comfortable with sharing information about "where you live, your home network, ISP connection and a few other pieces of information," because frankly, that sounds creepy with Halloween around the corner.

Just kidding, it’s all standard, innocent beta testing procedure folks. The preview event starts sometime after next week so let the sign up server crushing begin. Don’t be sad if you don’t get in, at least you can be sure that more information and videos of the NXE will soon become available for your viewing pleasure.
