This holiday season has seen its fair share of games, especially for the Xbox 360. Titles like Gears of War 2, Mirror’s Edge, Fallout 3, and others have made their way to the grand stage but with the influx of games, they have had little time in the spot light before the next wave moves into the limelight. During this time, to keep titles circling around back up to center stage, many game developers aim to hype a game that was released earlier in the season. Fable II creators Lionhead had this to say on their most recent blog about an upcoming piece of news that will come to light next week.

“Normally, we don’t like to tease too much. You know, all this hype being generated by teasing the announcement that there will be an announcement in X-number of days. Who cares? But in this day and age where a gazillion titles are asking for your attention, I felt it might be the right thing to do on the blog. We’ve got some good news for all Fable II fans next week, dare I even say it’s quite a big announcement? Yes of course I dare say it’s a big announcement regarding Fable II, next week!"

Lionhead is not spilling too much information other than to expect some “big” news from Fable II, and that will keep fans clamoring until next week when the announcement it made.
