Results of VGA announced.

The winners of the 5th annual Spike TV Video Game Awards have been announced from. The ceremony, which was held in the Mandalay Bay Events Resort and Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada, featured host Samuel L. Jackson handing out awards to some of the most notable and well publicized games released this year. The event will be televised tomorrow starting at 9 o’clock EST/PST and running from 11 o’clock EST/PST. In summation Bioshock received the most accolades this year as it received the Game of The Year awards along with the award for Best Xbox 360 Game and Best Original Score. In addition attendees to the Video Game Awards were treated to preview footage of to be released titles such as Borderlands, Gran Turismo 5, Prologue, Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Vegas 2, and TNA Impact!

Also present at the Video Game Awards this year were a number of musical and comedic routines such as Foo Fighters and Kid Rock in addition to the presence of comedians Patton Oswald, Ralphie May, and Brian Posehn performing their routines on stage. These performances followed with the appearance of the television debut of the video game concert series Video Games Live and awards presentations by various notables such as wrestlers Kurt and Karen Angle, the actress Tia Carrere, Joshua Gomez and Zachary Levi of the TV show Chuck, Tony Hawk, and many others.
