Today, a musical legend finally gets his due: SpongeBob Squarepants has come to Rock Band.
According to the press release from Friday, “The Nickelodeon SpongeBob SquarePants" 3-Pack features ‘I Can’t Keep My Eyes Off of You,’ ‘The Best Day Ever’ and ‘Where’s Gary?’ from the 2006 album "SpongeBob SquarePants: The Best Day Ever.”
Following the release of “Hit Me With Your Best Shot” earlier this year, Pat Benatar is back with “Heartbreaker” from her 1979 album "Heat of the Night."
Along with Benatar and SquarePants, punkish rocker bands Glasvegas and Von Bondies, who performed at this year’s 2009 South By Southwest Rock Band Showcase, will be releasing “Geraldine” and C’mon C’mon,” respectively.
Oh, and then there’s this other thing that came out today too.
In related news, another release from Harmonix yesterday announced the “Toby Keith 6-Pack” for next week, marking his debut for the game and giving country music fans a few more reasons to pick up some plastic and play along.
