Nintendo Announces DSiWare Launch Titles
Posted by Heath Hooker, 238 days ago Apr 2, 2009 15:56

The newest upgrade to the Nintendo DS, the Nintendo DSi, comes stateside on April 5. Just a couple of days to go, and Nintendo fans will be lining up once again for a new upgrade to the DS. With the launch of the DSi, comes the new DSiWare service, and Nintendo has announced what games will be available on launch day.

The titles that will debut with the DSi in a few days are WarioWare: Snapped!, Brain Age Express: Math, Master of Illusion Express: Funny Face, Art Style: Aquia, and the Nintendo DSi web browser.

Now for a little run-down of what the content of the games will be. WarioWare: Snapped! is a bunch of little mini games you play with your DSi camera. Brain Age Express: Math is much like the original Brain Age games, but it focuses on math. The Master of Illusion game is like a “baby” version of the real game, Art Style: Aquia is an underwater puzzle game, and the Nintendo DSi web browser is just a browser for the system.

Nintendo also announced that it will offer 1,000 DSi points to every person who buys a DSi until October 5, 2009. If you want more DSi points, it works just like the Nintendo Wii and Wii points. You can buy a DSi points card in stores, or you can buy points online through the DSiWare service with a credit card.

The Nintendo DSi will be released in blue and black, with a retail price of $169.99 on April 5th in the US.

Stay tuned to The Game Reviews for up to date information on these titles, and reviews when they’re available.
