You know that feeling you get when you’re browsing the music aisle at your local shop and you see a new album from one of your favorite bands?

"No way!" you shout, snatching the CD, "I thought the lead singer died of a cocaine overdose while crashing his car into an airplane and having artistic differences with the bassist and the label!"

Excitedly, you flip the CD over to scope out all the awesome new content contained therein, but your happiness is destroyed. It’s a greatest hits album - which is code for the label wants MONEY. You dejectedly put the CD back and skulk away.

Hopefully I’ve prepared you adequately, because Activison revealed their greatest-hits-esque Guitar Hero: Smash Hits tracklist through IGN. The upside here is that even though the game is recycling old material, Smash Hits updates all old songs with full-band play. Drumming Psychobilly Freakiout should be an interesting experience - the sort that lands you in the hospital.
