Tatsunoko Vs Capcom gets American Release
Posted by Ryan Skees, 302 days ago May 19, 2009 20:45

One of the two mystery games Capcom has been promising has finally been given a name. Capcom’s new mash-up fighting game, Tatsunoko Vs. Capcom: Ultimate All Stars, has officially been announced for American release, in addition to coming to E3 2009. Chris Kramer, Senior Director of Communications and Community for Capcom, revealed the game on his blog.

“The game that many thought would never make it to North America is actually in the works and will be at E3 for all of you lucky Unity members to get your hands on," he posted. "Its no secret that Seth and I love this game, and were looking forward to bringing you more information going forward, from bios on the fighters to tips on going big with combos and special moves.”

The game, featuring both characters from Capcom’s main franchises as well as characters created by the animation studio Tatsunoko productions, was delayed because of licensing issues for release outside of Japan. While no specifics have been given as to whether or not the game will be able to retain all the original characters from the Japanese line up, it is a safe bet to assume that characters from the Gatchaman and Street Fighters series will be making an appearance. Capcom has promised to provide more specific information later at E3 2009.

We will be sure to keep you posted as more information becomes available, so be sure to stay tuned to The Game Reviews for more information on this Tatsunoko Vs. Capcom: Ultimate All Stars.
