THQ announces new game.
Posted by Nick24444, Jan 3, 2008 12:26

THQ released a statement today that it is making plans to create a video game version of Pixar’s WALL/E feature film in time for the film’s release during the summer of 2008. The WALL/E game is being planned for a multiplatform release such as the Xbox 360, Playstation 3, Nintendo DS and Playstation Portable systems in addition to PC and Mac versions. This is the latest agreement between THQ and Disney/Pixar which has, at the time of writing, resulted in shipments of over thirty-five million copies of various titles shipped all over the world. The current deal, which was formed in 2004, also includes a stipulation that THQ can develop games that are based off four brand new Disney/Pixar films such as the Ratatouille game that was released last year. The development of THQ’s WALL/E game will be handled by THQ’S in house Heavy Iron development studio.

Prev: Far Cry 2 development officially announced
Next: Educational version of Guitar Hero to be unveiled.
