According to the Official Super Smash Brothers Brawl Website, Pikmin and Olimar have joined the ranks of Super Smash Brothers Brawl as an official character. This brings the total character count to 24, which happens to be an even split between returning characters and new characters. This is not an official completed character list however, as more characters may be announced before the release of the game.
