(Nasdaq: ATVI) is ushering in the New Year with 12 Interactive Achievement Award nominations for its blockbuster Call of Duty® 4: Modern Warfare™ and Guitar Hero III®: Legends of Rock video games.  Winners, as voted on by members of the Academy of Interactive Arts and Sciences®, will be announced as part of the 11th Annual Interactive Achievement Awards ceremony on February 7, 2008 at the Red Rock Resort in Las Vegas.

Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare nominations include Overall Game of the Year, Console Game of the Year, Computer Game of the Year, Action Game of the Year, Outstanding Achievement in Animation, Outstanding Achievement in Art Direction, Outstanding Achievement in Game Design, Outstanding Achievement in Online Gameplay, Outstanding Achievement in Sound Design and Outstanding Achievement in Visual Engineering.

Guitar Hero III: Legends of Rock is nominated for Family Game of the Year and Outstanding Achievement in Soundtrack.
