New Game Takes You to the End of the World
Posted by Nick24444, Jan 25, 2008 11:08

Dejobaan Games brought you to the Wonderful End of the World with its 12th title release and now it’s time for you to take the world beyond that. You’ve got a tough job ahead, though:  the world is about to be devoured by a demon with the head of a fish but you, as a puppet that collects all it touches, have the chance to collect as much good stuff you can find before it’s all taken away. As the game starts, you are only able to collect the smallest objects, such as a marble that becomes your head, or jellybeans that serve as your hands. You will have to survive against swarming rats and keeping away from the stomping feet of Golden Retrievers but if you do you will become bigger and bigger until you have fire engines as your mighty limbs and can assimilate whole buildings into yourself.

In the Wonderful End of the World, you will travel through 12 different locations that together contain roughly a thousand different items to collect. You can take sweets from a candy store that has gummi fish swimming through a river of blueberry juice (is it sugar free? Who knows?), go to a library where the words on the page have leapt off the page, or travel to the Megalopolis where you can join in on the End of the World Parade just before swallowing it up and heading up to the tallest building ever built to round off your collection.

The Wonderful End of the World is available as a demo or for online purchase here.
