Boungiorno to Provide Technology at the International Mobile Gaming Awards
Posted by Nick24444, Jan 28, 2008 11:04

This year’s International Mobile Gaming Awards, the world’s biggest contest for the mobile game industries, will be hosting a new brand of technology. Buongiorno’s content delivery platform, once installed, will allow the attendees to the Awards to utilize their mobile phones to make their selections from the 25 preselected mobile game titles by using the Internet or a WAP site. In addition, the list of winning titles will be sent to their cellphones at the exact moment the results are released at the official IMGA ceremony to be held in Barcelona this February.

The Head of Global Marketing, Product, and Supply for Buongiorno, Fernando González Mesones, reassures that the company “is thrilled to be working with the IMGA to support innovations in mobile gaming.” Mr. Mesones went onto say that Bunogiorno’s “end-to-end storefront solution is ready to support the future of the games industry for advanced interactions with multi-player communities, seamless and synchronized web and WAP, compatibility with all types of handsets and, soon the iPhone.”

Also Mr. Mesones added that Buongiorno “will be providing CRM functionalities; this will focus on age-rating of content in the IMGA’s extensive catalogue comprising 1,500 titles from 45 publishers” and that “with the three cornerstones of Buongiorno’s gaming solution – CRM, Content, and Community – Buongiorno brings gaming entertainment to millions of consumers each month, and are always looking to improve their experience.”

Maarten Noyons, the CEO and Founder of the International Gaming Awards, stated how very excited he is “by this new and powerful marketing opportunity and we hope this will boost the chances for the winning games to reach mass audiences worldwide, bringing consumers the innovative new games they are waiting for.”
