In wake of the YoYo Games Developers Contest, the firm has decided to take a different tack by sponsoring a development competition aimed at independent game makers. Every firm that chooses to compete is being offered the challenge and making a casual title which has an ancient civillization as the game’s theme. The selected winning titles will be splitting the sum of $1,750 among each of them and the praise of their fellow indie developers.
Sandy Duncan, the CEO of YoYo Games, said that the company was “very excited about the next competition. We see this next competition as an opportunity for the community to flex their programming muscles.”
