Midway Games’ latest sport title, NBA Ballers: Chosen One, will be featuring the voice talents of Chuck D., founder of and front man for the group Public Enemy, and Just Blaze, producer of music for artists such as Jay-Z, Usher, Kanye West, Busta Rhymes, and T.I. Chuck D. is taking on the role of in-game announcer and studio host for the Chosen One tournament and also will be giving play-by-play commentary throughout the game, whereas Just Blaze will be providing the in-game instrumental music. The tracks that Just Blaze is producing for Midway’s Chosen One title is off the beaten path for what is usually done in video game soundtracks; there will be no collection of tracks from a variety of divergent artists but, instead, the in-game music will react to what is happening with the game much like what would be heard in a movie soundtrack, and be a brand new auditory experience for the players of Chosen One.
