Sierra Entertainment formally stated that that Prototype, a sandbox type action title currently in production, will see some of Hollywood’s brightest names attached to it. According to Sierra, the new game will feature Barry Pepper, Gordon Clap, and Paul Guilfoyle in addition to other well-known Hollywood names.

Barry Pepper, seen in such cinematic titles such as Flags of Our Fathers, The Green Mile, and Saving Private Ryan. will be taking center stage in Prototype in the role of Alex Mercer, a mutated shapechanger who wants to find out how he came to be and will do whatever it takes to find it. Gordon Clap (NYPD Blue, Rules of Engagement) and Paul Guilfoyle (CSI and L.A. Confidential) will be in supporting roles in the game.

Prototype will be released for the Xbox 360 and PS3 consoles, as well as PC by developer Radical Entertainment. More information on Prototype is available at www.prototypegame.com.
