Devil May Cry 4 Install Times Worth the Wait?

Incase you have not already heard, it was announced that the new hit game, Devil May Cry 4, will require a mandatory 22-25 minute install before game play can commence. This has generated numerous complaints from gamers who have fought back claiming that if they have to install the game, then what is the point of having a console over a PC?

Capcom has cleverly fought back saying that the 22-25 minute install time will be filled with “Previous Devil May Cry trailers” along with tons of concept art for you to view. Don’t want to watch? Capcom recommends that those gamers who would like to opt out of watching the trailers should instead make themselves something to eat, claiming that since you are going to be spending quite a bit of time with the game,  it is in your best interest to not go hungry.

Another reason for the install is to offer lightening fast load times. Nothing is worse than completing a level just to sit there and wait for the game to catch up!  [Editor’s note:  Several other news sites are reporting load time savings of no more than 5 seconds.]

More information to come as it is released.
