TheGameReviews Microsoft Games Update
Posted by Nick24444, Feb 20, 2008 21:29

Microsoft kicked off its presence at the Game Developers Conference in a big way as it promised the gaming community that two big title sequels are heading down the pipe. First and foremost came the news that Gears of War 2 is really on the way for the Xbox 360 and has been assigned a release date in November of this year  Kotaku attempted to question Microsoft’s North American PR squad regarding this surprise announcement but they merely responded with a “no comment.” Sorry, fellas...the genie is out of the bottle on that one.

The fine folks at Kotaku also reported another sequel surprise from Microsoft’s appearance at the GDC when Tomonobu Itagaki stated in front of the GDC attendees that a sequel to  Ninja Gaiden title is currently being prepared for an international release coming in June, in addition to a retail release on the North American content on the 3rd of June. A level from Ninja Gaiden II was shown during Microsoft’s address along with news that owners of Ninja Gaiden II will be given the capability to save their in-game ninja moves to the Xbox 360 hard drive and then post them for the Xbox 360 gaming community to see.

Guns, aliens, ninjas, and the ability to show the world how good your kung-fu really is. What more could you ask for?
