Tomorrow will see a double header release of games for Xbox Live Arcade.
First up is an attempt to break into the casual market with the release of Brain Challenge, developed by Gameloft. Obviously inspired by Nintendo’s successful Brain Training series, this title comes with 20 different challenges split into five different categories ( Memory, Visual, Logic, Math and Focus), which will “train all areas of your brain.” You will be able to keep track of your progress, as it will record your stats to see if you are indeed “improving your brain.” What makes this more interesting is that there is multiplayer online and offline, so you could play with your family or friends to see who’s smarter, or you can take it online and play against friends or other members of LIVE.
The second game available tomorrow is Bliss Island, developed by Codemasters. You help a Zwooph called Hoshi as you dive into a collection of mini-games with over 25 unique challenges spread across nine crazy levels. This comes with online and offline multiplayer, so you can test your wits against players from around the world to see who is the champion of Bliss Island.
Brain Challenge comes in at 800 MS points, while Bliss Island comes in at 400 MS points. Both come with 12 achievements for 200 points, and both will be widely available tomorrow for purchase.
