Contrary to a new story in EDGE magazine, Prey 2 is not being developed for the PS3.The sequel to the 2006 smash featuring Tommy and a whole host of rather nasty aliens will instead be created exclusively for Xbox 360 and PC. In addition, Casey Lynch of Radar Group has confirmed to TheGameReviews.com that the title is being developed in collaboration with Human Head Studios for the game’s development.

It looks like PS3 owners who were hoping to repel extraterrestrials with Native American spirit powers will just have to live without. Either that, or ingest enough peyote that they think that’s what they’re doing…
