Rainbow Six Vegas 2 Dominates UK Charts
Posted by Predator, Mar 30, 2008 15:12

Ubisoft’s Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Vegas 2 has debuted at Number 1 on the all format charts for the United Kingdom. This is the fifth Tom Clancy game that has enjoyed this level of success. However, what is more interesting to console supporters is the question of which console version sold the best?

Well, according to charts, the Xbox 360 took away a massive 77 percent of the sales with the Playstation 3 assuming 23 percent. This makes Rainbow Six Vegas 2 the fourth fastest-selling Xbox 360 game in the United Kingdom, which is an impressive feat in its self.

Elsewhere in the chart, Mario and Sonic at the Olympics dropped to number 2 with Activison’s Guitar Hero 3 and Call of Duty 4 taking up number 3 and 4 respectively. EA’s Army of Two is the only game in the top ten to lose sales, as it dropped from number 2 to number 8. SEGA’s Superstar Tennis debuted at number 10.

A complete list of the top ten is listed below:

1. Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Vegas 2
2. Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Games
3. Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare
4. Guitar Hero III: Legends of Rock
5. Dr Kawashima’s Brain Training
6. Carnival: Funfair Games
7. Wii Play
8. Army of Two
9. FIFA 08
10. Sega Superstars Tennis
