Nintendo Wii

The Nintendo Wii may not be the most powerful console on the market, but no one can argue its success. The Wii has managed to bring casual gamers into the console realm and has provided user-friendly gameplay mechanics with some amazing AAA exclusives for fans to enjoy. While some hardcore gamers may be a little worried about the future direction of this console, less jaded gamers will continue to find a lot too love with Nintendo’s motion-controlled wonder.

Boom Blox
(EA, 2008, Metacritic Score: 85)
Check out the TGR Review here!

Boom Blox

Boom Blox takes a simple concept and makes it a joyous multiplayer experience. Did you ever see something stacked really high and get the urge to give the pile a swift kick? Boom Blox is all about knocking things over, throwing objects, and detonating explosives in hundreds of vastly different ways, and each shows just how much motion-control can add to an experience. From on-rails shooting to bomb-throwing to Jenga-style block removing, there is a lot of fun to be had in Boom Blox, and gamers of all ages will enjoy the heck out of it.
