TGR’s Gerren Fisher was recently lucky enough to meet up with Michael Wilford, Twisted Pixel CEO. Michael was showing off Xbox Live Arcade hit ’Splosion Man at the SXSW Screenburn Game On event in Austin, Texas. Michael talked with Gerren about how ’Splosion Man came about, how he thought it wouldn’t be picked up, and his thoughts on XBLA as a platform. Michael also revealed whether or not Twisted Pixel will explore other distribution models and what the company has learned through the success of ’Splosion Man and The Maw. He also hints at potential community involvement in the development of Comic Jumper: The Adventures of Captain Smiley.
