I. STATUS EFFECTS            [01]

[ D.M.W. Reel Field Effects ]

Certain advantagous status effects are triggered during battle, when the D.M.W. reel at the top-left corner stops on the right combination ofnumbers, ranging from zero to seven. Below is a list of the numbercombinations and their effects. Note that the asterisks signify any number.

[ Positive Status Effects ]

- Barrier   : Halves damage received from physical attacks.- Endurance : Prevents knock-downs when hit by attacks.- M Barrier : Halves damage received from magic attacks.- Regen     : Gradually restores HP.- Arise     : Auto Life when KO’ed.

[ Negative Status Effects ]

- Curse     : Causes D.M.W. reel to stop spinning in battle.- Death     : Causes instant K.O.- Groggy    : Zack becomes inactive, with a star on his head.   - Poison    : Gradually depletes HP. - Silence   : Prevents use of magic spells.- Stop      : Character movement ceases completely.

ACCESSORIES DESCRIPTION [03]

You may equip a total of 4 accessories on Zack, but you will only haveaccess to 2 accessory slots by default. The other 2 slots can be obtainedby completing Missions 7-2-1 and 7-2-5, which rewards you with the "Back Pack" and "Key Holder" respectively.

IV. FREQUNTLY ASKED QUESTIONS [04]

Q : How do I obtain the Ultima materia?

A : Iron Punch (Lv. 1) + Energy (Master).

Q : How do I raise the percentage for each D.M.W.s?

A : The percentage for character D.M.W.s, excluding Genesis, increases with    each UNIQUE "memory event" that plays during Modulating Phase sequences    involving a specific character.

    Zack acquires most of the memories as you progress, while others are    acquired by speaking to that character at certain point in the game.

    For summon D.M.W.s, each of the summons must be "power surged" at least    once to gain 100%. This concept also applies to Genesis.
