PS3 outsells Xbox 360 Again
Well, as you know, I like to put some business into my roundups, and it seems PS3 outsold all other platforms in Japan this week.

Last week, I came to you with the news that the Xbox 360 had won the week, but it seems the PS3 is back partly due to the new game Yakuza 3. PS3 sold 36,513 consoles, Xbox 360 sold 11,795, and the Nintendo Wii sold 17,876 consoles. The handhelds got the closest to the PS3 with the psp selling 35,588 systems, and the DSi selling 35,827 systems.
Tune in next week for the next winner.

"I Am Alive" Gets Moved
Ubisoft has moved one of its titles in development from Darkworks, and moved it the Ubisoft Shanghai devs. The game is I Am Alive, a “try to survive this horrible catastrophe” game. They are going to continue it, and finish the game at Ubisoft’s Shanghai studio.

The decision was a mutual decision between Ubisoft and Darkworks, who had prior obligations. Ubisoft is also pushing back I Am Alive from its March release date until April.

GTA IV DLC Has Sold One Million
Of course, everyone knows by now, Microsoft paid a lot of money for the GTA IV DLC to be exclusive to the Xbox 360. And according to many sources, and Blend Games, this is working for them. GTA IV: The Lost and the Damned has already sold one million copies.

Michael Pachter, financial analyst, said the DLC would hit 2 million by the end of the year. The DLC costs $20, and it’s sold one million, do the math. Woah, Microsoft might have something here.
